Exploit Open Sources
The InPlace Analytics OSINT -solution automatically collects data in realtime from open sources on the internet and even from your own databases (if granted proper access). The data collection can be augmented with other external data. The collected data is fused, processed and analysed using advanced spatiotemporal search and visualization tools. A common use case for the OSINT solution is monitoring the information environment with the goal of creating situational awareness within the organisation.
Utilizing existing data
The InPlace Analytics GIS -solution uses already existing data based on location and time. The data is imported into the system, processed and analysed using advanced spatiotemporal search and visualization tools. A common use case for the GIS solution is monitoring usage of resources and analysing spatiotemporal data for Research and Development purposes.
Data protection
Data protection is a civil right and we will protect it in all our solutions and services. The DPIA – Data Protection Impact Assessment – is an invaluable tool that helps us protect these rights, in close co-operation with our end customers.
The DPIA includes a description of processing of personal data, an evaluation of the need, scope and risks as well as the mitigating actions that need to be taken. We will use this assessment in order to define InPlace Solution’s and the customer’s roles as data controllers or processors.
When processing personal data, risks arise from four factors: the threat, the threat impact on the individual, the severity of this impact, and the probability of the threat. Our goal is to assess if the residual risk is justified and can be accepted under prevailing circumstances.
A well-prepared and -documented DPIA is the basis for meeting the requirements of the data protection legislation.
